What initially appealed to me is there was no multi thousand dollar up front software like a lot of other EHR companies want to charge you, along with yearly upgrade fees. Every aspect — design, functionality, service, and communication — feels broken. The interface is outdated, non-intuitive, and clunky — basic workflows require excessive clicks, tabs and navigation that make daily use inefficient. The training offered was insufficient: generic, basic, did not address our specialty’s workflow or busy-practice realities. Support is slow, often unhelpful, and you’re essentially locked into a contract with minimal freedom to cancel or exit—even when the system clearly fails to deliver on its promises. For any practice seeking a modern, streamlined, user-friendly EHR, I strongly caution against DrChrono. They refuse to cancel my contract even though I did not agree to a fee increase or a renewal. I did not sign a contract with the new company. They refuse to speak on the phone. Their customer service is non-existent. They couldn’t care less if you are happy with the service or not. > > Horrible. Do not consider.
