> **Minpunten**: Het uploaden van nieuwe artikelen in de webshop is een behoorlijke klus ondanks dat het Shopify wereldwijd bekend staat om zijn webshop-integratie.
Onze online winkel telt rond de 3000 artikelen en dat is bij Shopify eigenlijk niet haalbaar om bij te houden, gezien het enorme aantal tijd dat dit kost.
Het gebruik van al de aparte apps vond ik ook zeer omslachtig.

> Handig ppm een website te maken, maar niet om een grote webshop op te zetten als tijd kostbaar is. Na een periode van 1 jaar ben ik overgestapt naar een andere aanbieder voor webshop- en website publicatie.

> **Pluspunten**: Shopify feels purpose-built for eCommerce. After switching from Wix, the difference in overall performance, flexibility, and ecosystem became obvious very quickly. The platform is easier to scale, the app integrations are strong, checkout feels polished, and there are far more tools available for growing a business. Customization options are excellent, and there is a large community and support network around the platform.

> **Minpunten**: There can be a learning curve when first moving over, especially when dealing with themes, apps, and advanced customization. Costs can also increase as you add apps and additional features. Some functions that feel like they should be built-in sometimes require outside apps.

> My experience has been extremely positive. I switched from Wix and immediately noticed improvements in site performance, overall usability, and the ability to grow a business. Shopify feels like a platform designed around serious eCommerce rather than trying to be a general website builder that also happens to sell products. The ecosystem is strong, the checkout process feels polished, and it gives businesses room to scale without feeling limited. The migration took effort, but looking back I wish I had switched sooner.

> Overall, the experience with Shopify has been just OK, but trending more negatively the more I used it, and felt that ultimately it wasn't right for me both as a consumer and a user due to the cons, especially price, outweighing the pros. There was also little customer support and long queues.
