Super plugin for Multilingual websites

Opmerkingen: Ik had een probleem met het vertalen van het contactformulier. Het probleem is super snel verholpen. Echt top support.

Pluspunten:

De plugin is super makkelijk te installeren. Werkt erg goed.

Minpunten:

Kan geen minpunten bedenken. Gewoon een erg goede plugin!

Best Customer service.

Opmerkingen: I never experience better customer service. I wish all my partners would be as dedicated.

Pluspunten:

Of course, the product itself is great and does what needs to be done. I installed it without any IT background. It is really easy to use. It could probably be improved on some points although nothing comes immediately to my mind. What I want to emphasize here is the customer service quality. Rapidity, efficiency, kindness,... but also what lacks the most in such "IT" service, a real customer-oriented support. Actually, I think the product works already so well and has so few flows that the people behind it are bored and therefore so happy to help when finally someone gets a question :-).

Minpunten:

The invoicing system. I do not yet totally understand how consumption is calculated. Once the translation is done, that you have 1 or 1.000.000 views, it should not differ in rate so much. We just reach a limit of views and the service stopped. I needed to switch to another category which makes it much more expensive. (Although the translation job has already been done).

Excellent addition for our business

Opmerkingen: We've had a couple of questions about making customisations to fit the language switcher into our site and other questions along the way as we fine tune Weglot into our site. Weglot have been with us the whole time providing timely responses and helpful and specific answers to our questions.

Pluspunten:

Weglot has been super easy for us to implement within our BigCommerce store. The functionality is excellent with the ability to have it running within minutes or customise as needed. We've customised it to fit within our store theme and have multiple subdomains setup. Within 24 hours of adding the subdomains to Google we were receiving new traffic and orders so it's already delivering a return on investment.

Minpunten:

Every feature which we need we have found within Weglot, I'm yet to think of anything which is missing.

Issues with Integration

Opmerkingen: Initially the trial test worked well. It translated some of our pages and we find any server side issues. Other then a few translation errors for meaning, which were easily fixed by a native speaker, everything was working at least 95%
We proceed for the paid plan of 3 languages and quickly exceeded our word translation allowance. There were some errors with button colors and some functionality with the paid version. Their Support Team told us we needed to White List the plugin, which caused our site to quickly crash and the pages not to load. Our site started receiving hack attacks from different locations around the world.
Their support team just stopped communicating with us and have refused to close and refund us.
We are now contracting a professional services to fix the errors their plugin caused on our site.
Completely our fault for not having a Dev Site to try this on first, but we trusted the reviews we read and trusted in their company. We have lost thousands in revenue in the past 5 days and they are not even responding to us.

Pluspunten:

Easy to set up Translates pages as promised Possible opening new markets

Minpunten:

Website crashed We started getting thousands of requests each hour from different IP address trying to brute force hack our website. Their support takes more then 48 hours to respond, often without offering assistance and requesting the same information again and again. Lost thousands in revenue Costing us Thousands to fix their errors Google Translate is free and less doesn't crash your site.

Weglot is most likely the best translation app on Shopify app store

Pluspunten:

Easy to use and understand right out of the bat. Simple translation management, dynamic translations and ability to hide CSS or URL's mad me go for Weglot.

Minpunten:

Subdirectories set up did not work for us and caused us trouble, even after the assurance from the support. Also, I would like to use a chat function instead of only email.
