Microsoft customer support can be difficult to reach at times, but has been exceptional to work with each time I have ended up needing their help (and many things you’d usually need customer support for can be done on their website). Good value for money especially when bundled with other microsoft products.

> **Minpunten**: Excel is definitely not winning any usability awards in 2026 and if you're not a total spreadsheet geek like me, the UI is straight out of the stone age, and some of the more advanced features are buried in the clunky menus. Collabing on complex sheets can be a major headache too if you're not careful with the sharing settings, plus it's often overkill for simple stuff like basic lists or tables.

> At the end of the day, Excel is still the king of the spreadsheet world, while it's got its quirks and rough edges, when it comes to heavy duty number and data crunching, nothing else comes close. I've used it for everything from simple budgets to really complex data analysis projects, and it's never let me down.
