Opmerkingen: I was looking for an easy-to-use and cost-effective way of time recording my projects and daily tasks, and Clockify fits the bill absolutely perfectly. There are plenty of solutions out there that offer tonnes of features that Clockify doesn't do, but Clockify is great because I don't need loads of bells and whistles I'll never use. Clockify sticks to the KISS principle - "Keep It Simple and Straightforward", and long may that remain.

Pluspunten:

It is really quick and easy to use. Data entry is simple. Its layout is very well designed which makes navigation quick. It looks neat and uncluttered. It is extremely well priced. The reports are professional and look great, and offer lots of ways of reporting summaries and detail. I can get summary information for the week/month/year in a few seconds.

Minpunten:

Nothing. It just does what it says. It is a pleasure to use.

Best Tool for detailed time tracking with projects & clients

Opmerkingen: I really like the user interface of Clockify, its simple and looks good but is not overdesigned or has too many details. It's a very clear experience when working with it.

Pluspunten:

To me, Clockify is a pretty good time tracking platform for personal use or business, if you want to track tasks/ logs per project & client. It has many useful features like Clients, Projects, Project Tasks, Invoices. Time logs can have many fields or just as few as you want, that's essential to me. A task can be added to a project and a project task and can be labelled with tags, so you can categorize your logs.

Minpunten:

To me as a personal user with only a few tasks, the cost for an according plan is high, as I only need some features of other plans. I would like it better if there was an option to add single features as kind of add-on for a fair price. The mobile app is great too, but some useful features aren't yet implemented. But for basic logging it works, and more details can be added via web on desktop later.

Makes tracking time for multiple projects super simple!

Opmerkingen: Love it! Built in to my browser, only takes 2 seconds to select the project, and it's easy to go back and edit times if needed. I've been using the free version for over two years to run my business. I've tried others, and keep coming back to clockify because it is so simple to use.

I love the ability to separate clients, projects, and tasks separately. It is so simple to track multiple types of work and payrates within the same client or project, and the reporting makes it incredibly easy to create invoices at the end of the month.

Minpunten:

I wish it integrated with my invoice software so I could generate invoices directly from a report. This would save me hours and hours of time every month.

I like using most the time tracker and the reports! Also, the ability to export the reports in pdf/excel file helps me track everything even when I'm offline. It helps me see the overall picture of the projects that I'm working on with my client.

Opmerkingen: I am a self-employed professional and have been using Clockify for more than five years, now. They never broke the promise they made on day one, and all free features have remained free forever, although new functionality have been added at an impressive pace (many of which are also free, like the possibility of connecting your Google/Outlook calendar and turn your appointments into billed time, the ability to share a project with a colleague and see their billed hours, even the ability to share the project with your customer so that they can see an updated snapshot of your billed time whenever they need an update).

What I like most about Clockify is that the free version is a fully functional product, with no real limitations and an impressive array of features. The paid version goes beyond and provides a huge set of additional capabilities, but you will never be forced to switch to it.

To be frank, it is hard for me to find a serious shortcoming with this product. Maybe the only real drawback is that all my data are on the Clockify server and - although I can export it onto my PC whenever I need - I cannot choose to have everything sitting on my local storage. On the other hand, this means that I can access my billing platform from any web browser or web-connected phone, which is great.

The Best Time-Tracking is Clockify

Opmerkingen: I've tested several time-tracking apps. Clockify is by far the best time-tracking app for me. I have several clients each with several projects. I usually work on several projects in a day, not to mention my own, unbillable projects. Clockify makes it so easy to keep track of what I'm doing. I feel so organized and efficient using Clockify.

I love how easy it is to record my hours on different projects for different clients. And I love how easy it is to edit those hours if I make a mistake or forget to end when auto-recording hours.

Minpunten:

I don't really have any "cons". What I would loved is an added feature to be able to flag time as "already billed", and then run a report for billable unbilled hours and billable billed hours. If this is already possible and I'm missing something please let me know!

Worth the time!

Opmerkingen: I've been using the free version of Clockify for 4+ years now and it has made my life SO much easier. I have a better sense of how much time is being spent on each of my projects, and I submit my timesheets and progress reports on time now.

Minpunten:

The only issue I've experienced: When I export a detailed report as an XLSX spreadsheet, Excel is not able to interpret the Duration (h) column when I attempt to create pivot tables. This issue does not occur when the file is exported as a CSV. Steps I follow: 1. Export the detailed report as a spreadsheet 2. Select all data in the sheet and click Insert > PivotTable 3. Drag Category to Rows, then drag Project to Rows 4. Drag Duration (h) to Values 5. Change the Value Field Settings for Duration (h) to summarize the field value by Sum (instead of Count), then change the Number Format to [h]:mm This works as expected for CSVs, but not for XLSXs. Duration appears as 0:00 for all rows in the XLSX.

Best time tracker I have tried out of LOTS!

Opmerkingen: My overall experience is extremely positive. I would rate the product a 4.8 out of 5. Would give it 5 if it could do the alerts! I could find no other time tracker that can do that so they would be adding a feature no other product I could find had. I tried every other time tracker and none of them compared to Clockify for me

I love being able to track my time by just simply clicking it on and it goes! The support is absolutely excellent. Anytime I have had an issue they have been there. They 100% support their product

I only have two issues with the product really. I wish the alerts would send when the timer is still running when I am working. I have ADHD and go over a lot! Every other time tracker I tried suffered from this as well so I can't complain too much. The UI I do find a little confusing sometimes

Daily user hoping for small fixes

Minpunten:

The WORST is that when editing start and stop times manually, the minutes are often changed to one after or one before the number that I wrote. I'm guessing that's due to rounding of seconds, but this is invisible to me on the user side, and very annoying, meaning I have to submit a time one minute after the one I want (for example). The favorites list is not as developed as it could be (the starred units are too high level, I want to star more granular parts). It's also hard as a user to check sums of time logged that aren't pre-configured (with limited, non-owner controls). The UI buttons often lag between clicking and the action working, without any loading indicator.

Very positive experience with a very complete tool

Opmerkingen: I've been using Clockify for around three years now, as a regular agent being tracked and now as an admin analyzing the entries from my team. This platform is great and condenses most of the necessary features to carry out a tracking service of excellence. I'm glad to work with this platform due to its fast response-time as well as the easy-to-use layout which makes it easy for my clients to learn fast and create reports of their own.

The layout is simple and easy to understand while containing all the tools necessary to carry out most management tracking.

Minpunten:

At least in the free plan, there's no way to see real-time entries, meaning that I only have visibility to ended time entries which in some way or another slows down my typical workflow and tracking.
