It is possible to automatically create weld beads , to detect contacts and to detect scews/bolts.
The software is always update with new features.
The support can easily be reached

The import of CAD is a little bit long

> I use SIMSOLID to simulate various mechanisms.
I do linear, non-linear and modal analysis but the software has over capacities (dynamics and thermal).
The mechanisms I work on are complex with a lot of contact between the parts.
I can obtain results after few clicks and few minutes, this allows me to test a maximum of solutions in a very short time.

> Only positiv experience of SimSolid. Easy to use and to learn. As you have to import all geometry, it is a good feature that SimSolid can recognice if it is a simular geometry, BC and other features applies directly and you get many different results in the tree to caompare.
