Working in marketing we often deal with files that are quite large in size and need to be accessible by a large group of people. Sharepoint has solved this challenge for us and made file sharing very simple. Since we already work in a Microsoft ecosystem it was a natural extension to start using Sharepoint instead of other file management solutions. If you're already familiar with other MS software like Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. learning how to use Sharepoint will be very easy as the interface looks similar. > > **Minpunten**: In some instances due to the way our security is set up through Sharepoint it can be difficult to share files/documents with individuals external to our organization. The permissions won't always allow for us to share externally, or outside users report difficulty in figuring out how to access the files we are sharing with them. Furthermore, having the ability to use it on a web based platform as well as having "folders" within Windows allows users to use the software in an individualized way.
