An aesthetic project management tool with GREAT templates

Opmerkingen: I think Notion is a great tool for all Business Owners and Creators. It's also such a great tool for personal use. Think shopping lists and travel planning boards! I'd recommend it to anyone that's planning anything from weekly errands to a client meeting agenda. Notion is YOUR space to create whatever you can imagine and tailor it to your needs. You're going to love it!

Pluspunten:

I absolutely love all the already-made templates you can choose from that Notion offers. Having a blueprint you can work from and edit to fit your day AND aesthetic is really so convenient!

Minpunten:

Creating your own page from scratch is quite challenging if you've never used Notion before. It would be beneficial if they had an introduction to the software as part of your sign up. A couple of video tutorials with tips like 'best widget apps' would be so helpful!

Using Notion to get organized and have all my stuff in one place

Opmerkingen: Extremely adaptable table and database layouts. Used it as my primary method of note-taking and journaling. I like it better than both OneNote and EverNote combined. One of, if not the greatest, note-taking apps available.

Pluspunten:

Simple to input text and numbers. Terrific shortcuts for a variety of jobs. Excellent for including and embedding media. The app allows me to quickly photograph handwritten notes and store them in a folder I can sort through on my computer later.

Minpunten:

Don't try to reinvent the wheel when it comes to table cell entry; if I click into a cell and start typing, it will replace the existing content (just like Excel does), and choosing cells is far more cumbersome than in Excel. The process of making a template is not the most straightforward, and it took me some time to master it.

Notion: The platform for organizing

Opmerkingen: The benefits that I have realized while using notion are that I can completely organize everything on one platform, from scheduling to grocery shopping.

The thing I like best about notion would be the variety of templates that are there for use. My favourite one is the school planning one, where you can organize all of your class, the due dates, exams etc., into one place to give an overview of the semester

Minpunten:

It can take a bit to get the hang of how to use notion. There is many features that don't come natural to most, but with a little practice you will become familiar with the functions and features

Managed the Transitioning to Notion and It Improved Our Productivity

Opmerkingen: Notion helped us centralize project management, documentation, and knowledge base into a single place. Now we have a strong way of doing things and documenting the knowledge across teams.

Pluspunten:

Customizable databases and different views make it pretty easy to manage resources and documents. The new "projects" feature was something I had been looking forward to for months, and finally, we have it.

Minpunten:

Some team members find it a bit difficult to start with. Getting the whole team to adapt using Notion took a while.

The best scheduling and work organization tool

Opmerkingen: The disjointed and chaotic nature of digital workflows is addressed by Notion. It was useful for both my professional and personal life because it consolidated my team's efforts and my own into a single app, eliminating the need for me to juggle numerous programs and platforms.

The finest app I've found so far, it's helped me get my life in order and better manage my time. I really like how I can choose from pre-made templates or make my own custom collection. Another helpful aspect is its adaptability, which lets me make different kinds of content, such as checklists.

Minpunten:

It's inconvenient that I can't access the concept from my mobile device, and it would benefit from more widgets, possibly even dedicated ones, for use on mobile apps.

Notion is an application to take notes with great simplicity

Opmerkingen: Notion takes a novel approach to note taking, finding an ideal middle ground between extensive features and user friendliness. The structure of most databases is rigid and cannot easily be changed. The addition of this versatility in Notion is simple and straightforward.

Pluspunten:

It offers a lot of room for data and information storage, and I appreciate how easy it is to use. I use it in both my professional and personal life, for everything from day-to-day scheduling to formulating comprehensive plans.

Minpunten:

Using it would give them an advantage they don't (yet) have, and there aren't many things I despise. It's not always clear to me how all of the interconnected databases function. yet I blame much of that on myself.

Notion is a winn

Opmerkingen: SOOO happy about this product. I was using Microsoft OneNote before and I've switched everything over to Notion now.

Pluspunten:

Everything honestly. From the new added AI features to the ready made templates, notion is EVERYTHING. I cancelled my other social media calendar schedulars and now I use Notion as my SM calendar for my clients! Keeps me on track with what events they have coming up, what posts to create/win. ANNNND my clients are able to access Notion and approve or update caption ideas!

Minpunten:

Sometimes getting the right template can be a little cumbersome.

Notion is collaboration multiplier!

Opmerkingen: We really like Notion to collaborate as a team. Overall, it has been a positive experience with a high adoption rate. This has supercharged our productivity and allowed us to be more focused as a team.

Notion makes it easy for us to manage tasks, collaborate, and create "living documents" that are used within singular teams and across our organization. It is a powerful tool that is intuitive and easy to learn!

Minpunten:

Notion is fantastic, the only negative I can think of is that I wish it had better functionality with Microsoft Teams/Office products.

I'm literally obsessed with Notion

Opmerkingen: I'm more productive, organized, and using fewer tools to be productive and organized. Notion replaced five other programs that I was using. I'm saving time and money - what's not to love?

Pluspunten:

I like the flexibility of Notion. As a creative, Notion is the only platform of it's type that gives me the freedom to set up my environment the way I want so that when I'm working in Notion, it feels like I'm working in MY space and not someone else's.

Minpunten:

Notion gets better all the time, there are more integrations I'd like to see and I'd love even more customization options, but I know they're coming so these aren't cons so much as my own personal patience issues.

All in one tool

Pluspunten:

Previously we used different tools for knowledge base and project management / task management and could be different between departments as well. Thus created a higher cost and not as good oversight. Moving to notion enables to set up all functions in notion. With the flexible setup, you can setup anything in notion.

Minpunten:

You need to understand what you are setting up as you are building it from scratch basically.

Notion: The Best FREE Note-taking software to date!

Opmerkingen: Ultimately, I would recommend Notion to anyone in an instant. It has a suite of features, user-friendly UI and organisation benefits. Furthermore, the personal subscription recently became free for everyone and the business prices are reasonable, giving people no reason not to use Notion. I believe that Nation can fit into many workflows very easily due to its plethora of features.

Pluspunten:

Notion is absolutely brimming with useful features and is the Swiss army knife of note-taking applications. The overall software is so minimalistic and intuitive to use that I personally learnt it within a few days. The whole software revolves around using "/ " to create blocks and edit text; for example, a /toggle would create a toggle block which acts as a dot point except that you can hide/show it. This makes the learning curve of notion virtually non-existent and creates unparalleled flexibility in the structure and style. I find that the simple and uncluttered UI helps clear my mind and focus on the current task. The data management is superb with extensive sorting, classification and customisation features for the spreadsheet and databases functions. The timeline features are also an extremely welcome addition in the recent updates and allow for the seamless moving of date-specific records. There are countless useful templates as well which certainly help give me ideas about what I wanted my Notion notes to look like.

Minpunten:

Some features make little sense and unfortunately cannot be disabled. One of these issues occurs when clicking on a page in a table and it opens up as a tiny square and you need to press "Open as page," to make the page full screen. This is just a small annoyance and is honestly not that big of a deal. Another lacking feature is the scarce customisation options for text formatting however there are solutions to this through Google Text Fonts. There are also a few limitations of the free Personal Plan but if you needed the full collaborative features of Notion, your company would usually pay for that. The offline mode for Notion is frankly quite bad as you have to preload the pages when you have internet beforehand. Otherwise, your notes would be inaccessible. However, this isn't at all a deal-breaker as there is usually internet everywhere. Notion has also indicated that they are focusing on this problem for future updates. The mobile app is also sluggish at times but it is mostly alright.

The ultimate knowledge sharing tool

Opmerkingen: I tried Notion first with it came out. I did not made the switch from Evernote, my personal "knowledge base" at the time. Then I gave it a second chance after seeing it being used by productivity experts and was actually amazed. My personal workflows changed from day one. I could not stop thinking into turning more parts of my life into ordered processes. I dumped my yearly account on Evernote right away. Then I pushed it to be used in my new founded company. We managed to organize ALL the company inside Notion. I continue to be impressed

Pluspunten:

The product is just right. They got it at a somewhat unexpectedly hard problem: note taking is not about note taking, but about mental models and processes. They got it right. They added the features those app needed, to replace whole tools categories such as project management and tracking, knowledge databases ... even no-code public site drafting! The care they put into the product is amazing, full of details. The community and templates, amazing. UX is great from onboarding.

Minpunten:

There are some missing features. Mainly, an API to boost integrations; that will be great. Also, databases, formulas, relations ... need a few second-level yet-important features. All that is in the roadmap, so I'm happy to wait.

Notion, the digital brain tool that you need for your business !!

Opmerkingen: We had a very positive and joyful experience with Notion. I think when we started using Notion, it came out a little earlier than our small family company. We feel that we have grown with them, and I think that is a very amazing feeling. It's like they have followed very nearly their community and tried to listen as mush as possible and give them all the tools they need to grow. It means a lot. We know that financial gain is important but being capable of that but still being very present to the community is much harder, and they have succeeded that!Now, students, anyone has accessibility to use a powerful tool like this one. It's so cool ! I still use Notion for myself and my personal life. It makes everything easy-peasy !

I still like this kind of architect approach from Notion. They are the pioneers of this approach, and for that they have a very special place in our note-taking approach. I think it's because we feel understood as Business entrepreneurs that we need a white canvas to start, but with tools that will help us to build an organized library of knowledge and interactive libraries of knowledge and information.You can start very simple, but you can also make it more robust and complex and also, decide to reduce the complexity and go back to a simple structure.

I started to use Notion in 2018, and I saw the changes they made. I think in 2020, I tried to use other software, but I was still observing it from far. Furthermore, I was still using it for inventory, articles gathering, but that's it because I felt overwhelmed by the tools and feature they were adding.I think we got lost a little by the intensity of the features, but now, they went back to simplicity, and we can see it in the way they have presented their new recent features.

Notion is a great tool to organize just about anything

Opmerkingen: I use Notion to plan blog posts, collect research, make notes and save webpages. It has almost fully replaced evernote for me. I really love the mobile app and can see this tool developing further so it will be an all in one go to tool for organizing and planning.

You can organize your entire life using Notion, your work, study and home life can all be taken care of within Notion. You can replace so many other tools with this one tool that runs on your computer or phone. There is heaps of templates to get you started such as calendars, to do lists, meeting notes, saved websites and much more.

Minpunten:

There could be a bit more of a similar way to bookmark webpages like evernote but this functionality is developing.

The Best Productivity and Project Management Tool in the Market

Not only do I appreciate the design of Notion, which is clean, modern, and easy to navigate, it's a wide range of views and templates that perfectly suit my needs, including calendars, task lists, project boards, and knowledge bases. Notion's real-time collaboration allows my team members to work on projects together in a single interface, commenting and updating information is easy. It also made me use Notion for my personal and business, and now my life has evolved with Notion. It integrates my life, and my work thru devices like my iPhone, iPad, and multiple computers. Just the perfect tool for me and others, both personal and business. Highly recommend it!

Accessing shared pages in Notion as a guest is a little more involved than downloading a shared file from Google Drive. However, it is still possible to view shared pages in Notion without creating an account, as long as you have the correct link and the person who shared the page has set the correct sharing permissions. Besides this, Notion is perfect!

Notion is a definite must for top tier performance!

Opmerkingen: Overall, I genuinely and wholeheartedly love this app and reap all the benefits from using it. I have noticed such a drastic change within my work. My motivation, organization, and completion progress have done nothing but skyrocket since I began using notion and I haven't looked back since. I plan on using it as my tried and true for as long as it is around as well as continue to recommend it to everyone I can!

The number one thing I absolutely adore about notion is how customizable the app is. You can entirely tailor your layout or layouts to however you'd like it be. Not only does it provide this for users by allowing flexible and unlimited list and task pages, but by also allowing users to design how their notion pages look as well! Who wouldn't want their time/task manager set up to be aesthetically appealing and eye engaging while also being super functional and productive. All around I would say notion is a perfectly well rounded app for anyone to use for any reason while also being extremely easy to navigate and user friendly. Great app/website! 100/10 recommend to all my friends!

I honestly don't think I have a single thing negative to say about notion genuinely. I have never had anything but positive experiences while using it and have had so much success with it there isn't anything coming to mind that I would change. I truly believe it is already as close to perfect as it can be with how it is now.

My second brain, Now I can remember all I learn thanks to notion

Opmerkingen: The program known as Notion has a very high degree of adaptability. Because of their databases, which allow for a variety of displays, including calendar, Kanban, table, and list formats. It was quite easy to understand and enjoyable to use, in my opinion. It is entirely comprehensible to me how this might take the place of something like Google Docs and serve as a hub for your team. The very thought of it is astounding. My life is going to be lot simpler from now on. If only I had this concept while I was in school, I would be an encyclopedia right now.

The way notion links up and create connections between your knowledge is spectacular, you would think you are using a relational database management software. It is easily customization and also has powerful functions that you can use to extend its capability. Notion has a great community who have developed templates for almost anything conceivable and most of these templates are for free. Another thing is the seamless integration with the mobile app, its like you are actually working on the same device

Notion has limited fonts and styling. The most painful part of notion is the inability to set recurrent tasks in notion, it is a pain, you have to buy addons to be able to achieve this

It is highly customizable and can be used for a wide range of purposes, including project management, note taking, and task tracking. I also like it because it's easy to use and has a clean and intuitive interface. Additionally, it is available on the web, mobile and desktop.

Minpunten:

I found it hard to use Notion on iPads and with Apple Pencils. While it's very intuitive on laptop, it's doesn't feel the same on an iPad when using a pencil.

Best workflow management tool out there

Opmerkingen: I can not recommend this software enough, there is a small learning curve, but once you master the platform, it will be gamechanging.

This software is a combination of Evernote, Excel, and PowerPoint. While I believe the team initially developed the software as a sophisticated workflow management tool, it has evolved into so much more, it is nothing short of a CRM tool that can be used in any business in any industry. The robust nature of it's features and the ease at which you can mould your workspace to suit your needs or business is beyond anything any other software has been able to develop.

Minpunten:

There isn't necessarily an effective forum set-up for the Notion team to interact with its super users to gain feedback from them on what works and what doesn't, what future features could be extremely beneficial and understand how the software is used differently depending on the industry.

Notion has completely replaced my notebook!

Opmerkingen: Overall, Notion is an indispensable app for our company. I've even started to use it for my personal life and side projects. It's really the best note organization app in the market.

The beauty of this application is that it can fit whatever requirements you would need from a notebook. You can define your own templates, you can define how every page looks. You can. even define who can view what you wrote. Organization is a breeze with the number of pages you can nest under each other. We have found that opening a page for each project works best.

Minpunten:

There is simply no cons for this software! My colleagues and I use it every day without fail. We even share pages of it to our clients.

NOTION is a true lifesaver productivity app for anyone who really cares to deliver the best of him/her by the end of the day. Once you open the app you will have option to customize the pages you see on the left side, create new ones, include links, add people who you work with, tag them, add pictures, prioritize your tasks, set deadlines and set a reminder for every deadline you set of. It basically has everything I would ask for, almost perfect and it saves me a lot of time by keeping me organize throughout the day.

The only thing I like the least about this software is the font, it has very limited fonts to choose from. I wish they had more.

The holy grail of organization

Opmerkingen: Notion is my second brain at home and at work. It has definitely improved my workflows and helped me organize all the different areas of my job, related resources, even scheduling, into one platform. It's not yet a full replacement for something like Evernote or Airtable, but it currently has the best of both those platforms, and I believe it will soon overtake them.

I have used Notion for personal projects since it first came out. Recently I have started migrating my work documentation and databases to Notion, and I'm very impressed. The ease of setting up relational databases within notes is unmatched in any other software I've used.

Minpunten:

There are some small features that Notion does not yet excel at. Currently there is no way to view a calendar view of a database in any view other than month view, which is a small complaint. I know the Notion team is working on improving offline functionality as well, as it is pretty reliant on a steady Internet connection, which hasn't been a problem for me personally.

Beyond happy with Notion. I don't think I could ever work without it in the future

Opmerkingen: Personally I use Notion everyday to track my OKRs (objectives and key results) and document all my learnings. Out with Google sheets and links everywhere - in with notion pages. With possibilities of adding virtually anything into the pages (timelines, tables, videos, images, etc..), it makes everything much more clear and readable. It has become a core tool in our internal communication. On top of that, you can even create pages for external use. I believe Pento are a great example [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] They literally use it as an employer branding tool to present their company to the world. Why not do something like that for your company? :)

Pluspunten:

What I like the most with Notion is that I do not even know where to start to describe it. We use it for so many things in our company. Each team has their own space where they can drive their own projects - some may have some high level presentations of the people in the team, others like marketing use it for their "project requests". All in all I feel that everything is just much more organised as soon as it is in notion. The important is probably to start with a good structure and then make sure everyone knows how to use it.

When it has not been structured, it can get chaotic. Make sure you have a great "base" and then onboard all the users with some guidelines, and it will all be great!

Reliable and powerful software for all sorts of work that involves writing!

Opmerkingen: I have been using Notion for a long time as my primary tool for taking notes, and it has all the features I need to write, organize, and maintain my work. So far, it has worked well for me!

Pluspunten:

A lot of things - 1. My current favorite feature is Notion AI which lets me brainstrom on anything I'm working. It cuts a lot of distraction because a good portion of information can be retrieved through the AI within a few seconds. All I have to do is press "space bar" and ask questions. That's it.2. One of the few reasons I use Notion is that it has very clean and minimal interface. Nothing is cluttered and everything feels easy on the eyes. It makes the whole writing experience smooth.3. Notion templates are time-saving. I haven't created one template of my own, everything I need is already available in the gallery.4. Importing and exporting notes is easy and straightforward. It takes one click to view analytics and complete history of the place with detailed information. All these things make the whole user experience very seamless. Everything's presented right in front of you so there isn't much time spent finding certain things when you're taking notes.

Minpunten:

A few things -1. Searching for notes is still laggy. It works fine if you have a few notes, but I have a lots of pages on notion and whenever I try to find something specific, I get to see the performance issue in terms of speed.2. It needs more keybindings especially in the codeblocks section.3. It'd be nice if they also had an official desktop application (with offline-mode feature) for Linux based distributions.

Great versatile tool for businesses and personal use

Opmerkingen: We use Notion for a lot within our org, but mainly knowledge management. It's easy to organize and find your documents and document your processes to share with your team as a central hub. One of my favorite tools out there and indispensable really.

The best thing about Notion is its flexibility, that you can customize it to work as almost anything in your day to day, whether its note taking, documentation, knowledge storing or anything else.

Minpunten:

Task management and collaboration can be improved, especially task management needs to get a big upgrade to be able to replace dedicated task management softwares for larger teams. Notion's big benefit, its customization abilities holds it back because although there's hundreds of templates, you do have to set it up and really educate your team on how to use it within your own organization's context, something dedicated task management solutions do for you. I never have to worry if someone "gets" Asana, but if I were to replace Asana with Notion I'd have to really educate my team on how to properly use Notion and all its tools. It's a fine balance to strike but overall Notion is doing a great job at it.
