Over Zoho Assist
Zoho Assist biedt een eenvoudige en duidelijke gebruikersinterface om overal ter wereld verbinding te maken met externe computers.
Browser integration and Linux support are top features for us. Unattended also is a key feature for us.
Two features are missing as of now. Real-time voice chats with client and auto chat transcript mailing to the client at the end of the sesion.

Het gebruik is aan de admin kant erg gemakkelijk, gebruiker opzoeken en uitnodigen.
De gebruiker moet in het begin 2x dezelfde actie doen en vele beveiligingen door lopen. Aan het eind heb je 2x de vraag van joinen
Pluspunten:
Overnemen van computers kon ik al en is gratis, het overnemen van smartphones kon ik nog niet. Er is een programma die dat ook kan, maar is betaalde software. Deze kan op basis van adresboek mensen uitnodigen en overnemen. Wat ik een pre vind, een computer die beperkte rechten heeft, kan ik nu wel met admin rechten overnemen
Minpunten:
Het is een rechten ding, maar er moet veel geklikt worden door de gebruiker om overgenomen te worden. Alleen een code versturen zonder de uitnodiging kan niet, zover ik heb gezien. Via een smartphone weer wel. Deze hoeft alleen 1x de download te doen van de app en daarna alleen de code ingeven

Zoho Assist review after 2 years
Opmerkingen: I have been using Zoho Assist for approx 2 years now for both business and personal. While the multiple steps to initiate may be a challenge for my 80 year old mother-In-Law, she is able to follow the steps required. My customers, on the other hand, see this as a feature that gives them multiple opportunities to decide whether or not they want to allow access. As for using the Remote Desktop connection, I have had not issues what so ever - even when my customer's computer is on a limited speed internet connection. I'm very happy with the value I get from Zoho Assist... (Yeah - I know it sounds like an ad, but I'm in industrial instrumentation sales, and this is the way I talk.... :-)
Pluspunten:
Ease of use and reasonable price. My customers (and in laws) have all felt very comfortable with the multiple levels of security that ensure that they are actively giving me permission to connect to their computers.
Minpunten:
I really have no complaints... Multiple steps to initiate connection.

Opmerkingen: Easy to use remote help application which I can use form any desktop and Android mobile device. I guess I keep repeating that it is "easy," and the price very reasonable. I have used Teamviewer and Remote desktop, but keep reverting back to Zoho.

The best remote support platform for your company
Opmerkingen: We reviewed a few remote support platforms for our company. Zoho Assist won hands down in terms of compatibility (Windows, Mac, Linux), ease of use and price. After three years we can also add support, as it has been top notch. I can't really recommend it enough.

Great Product for beginners or old timers to use for remote IT support
Opmerkingen: I use this product to support my family and friends. I am their computer tech guy and they live all over the east coast. This is th best product by far for remote support i have found and i used to use Team Viewer. It seems evertime google comes out with a product it is better than the competition by far and they did not miss the mark with this. This allows me access to any machine unattended or not, so i can perform maintan3nce tasks, or emergency fixes. I have been using this product for over 4 years to support family, friends ,and customers alike and it is by far the most stable robust product I have ever used.

Opmerkingen: I have been using Splashtop, Teamviewer, Logmein and VNC. For the pass 20 years as tools for remote access to my customers' computers. It's been a few months with Zoho Assist and the switch seem to be my next solution.
Pluspunten:
#1 The wide range of devices compatibility. (Linux & Android) are not always there on other solution out there. #2 The quality of the connection and option for me to control them. #3 The ease of the installation for my costumers, #4 Support from Zoho in ANY of their app is better than any I have seen.(Call, email & Chat).
Minpunten:
#1Compare to other, the main page is not very intuitive. Lots of poking around before finding where everything is.#2 Lots of unused option remain there even if I don't have access to them. #3 Some menu seems redundant and could easily be merged into one.#4 The Zoho apps have ONE information in common in all of them "CONTACT INFORMATION" and yet in all of Zoho app there is no standard among them, regarding contact information. There is not even a Contact app to manage that common information about all Zoho tools.

Great value as long as your clients have solid internet
Opmerkingen: Our team switched to Zoho Assist after several years with Team Viewer, looking at a more price competitive option. We connect to clients that sometimes have very slow internet, and this was the biggest shortcoming. The tools and connection were great with stable internet! While it does not require connection codes which can be great, it required clients to redownload the assist software every time and this could get confusing for less technologically inclined clients. Overall a good option if your client base has strong internet.

Works well with decent internet, Integrates well with the Zoho Suite, easy to set up unattended access, somewhat easy for clients - no connection codes required.
Minpunten:
Requires a stronger internet connection than competitors, requires a download every time you wish to connect.
Zoho assist, a fantastic option for remote help!
Opmerkingen: Positive. I’ve been using Zoho Assist for a while now, and it’s honestly been a huge help for our business! As an HVAC company with users spread out across different areas, I often need to troubleshoot and manage remote systems, and Zoho Assist has made that so much easier. The unattended access feature is a game-changer—it lets me handle issues and do maintenance even when the user isn't around, saving me a ton of time. The security features are rock solid, too. How to not break the bank with remote assistance.

The cost to feature/function ratio is great. There are lot of features found in comparable more expensive solutions but available at a much more budget friendly package. The interface is intuitive and simple to navigate and understand vs other more costly solutions.
Minpunten:
Unattended agents sometimes go offline for short periods of time after intense troubleshooting sessions that require multiple reboots, connect, disconnects.

I love the simplicity if setup and the ability to remote in and help team members anytime they run into trouble. I also love accessing my main work machine from my mobile devices and lower-powered machines. It also allows me to carry less licenses for some software titles so I can keep it on my main work machine and remote access that to get work done.
Minpunten:
The only trouble I've run into I think is related to the machines I've been running them on and that's when my lower-powered machines start to bog down because they are dated and have lower system resources sometimes I drop my connection but it's an easy reconnect and I'm back up and running.

I use it for multiple clients and have it on dozens of machines. It connects quickly and securely and doesn’t drop out. Love using Zoho Assist.

Zoho remote assist is very fast to connet even the remote computer is running with slow bandwith. In addition, the file transfer feature of Zoho is reliable with no transfer failures between computers. The oline and downtime feature under the admin center is highly required by any IT support person.
Minpunten:
1_Some computers when using the volume agent deployment tool of Zoho assist fail to connect even after being added to the list of computers. 2_Another challenge, some computers ask for further admin approval from remote computer even the agent tool has been deployed. 3)The zoho assist app launches very slowly.

Value for money

Before trying out Zoho Assist, i was using another product until one fine day some critical problem on their server knocked it out for a few hours.
i have used Zoho Assist for a few days now and it feels almost like it is not there. This is really difficult to achieve for most of the in-your-face software packages available in the market. Once you connect to a remote client, it is as if you are working on your own computer.
This is the perfect remote assistance software.
Pluspunten:
* browser-based entirely. you don't have to install another software to provide assistance. * Super smooth connectivity * easy on pockets * translates keys-strokes between platforms (i use it from my linux to connect to a remote Mac, and i don't have to bother about translating my, for example, CTRL + S to CMD + S to save my files. * does not bother with constant ads or purchase requests
Minpunten:
Cons are a little difficult to find. If i have to be really picky, i would probably say it is the default graphics quality of the remote client that is streamed. But then, remote desktop/assistance is not supposed to be used for multimedia entertainment. And again, it is configurable in the settings, so it is not a bother.
Hands down easiest remote assist in unattended mode. On-demand is great for tech savvy customers too!
Opmerkingen: Have been using the product for 8 years without incident. I have agents that have been installed and active for years now and it's a very small file and low system performance impact.
Pluspunten:
It just works. It's super easy to use and easy to install and get active. I use both the unattended and the on-demand with great success.
Minpunten:
I don't really have any cons, but if there were one, it's that the company doesn't push to always be immediately verified with Windows Defender, so sometimes the assist app gets flagged and auto-deleted, so then I have to explain to customers how to select the "keep anyway" thing.

Just how remote support software should be.
Opmerkingen: I've used Zoho Assist for years with literally zero problems connecting. It has all the features and functionality that I need at a fantastic price.
Pluspunten:
Zoho Assist has everything I need to connect to my clients securely and remotely. It has multifactor authentication built in and is web based so I can access it from anywhere. Connecting is always fast even on slower networks, my phone or tablets. The unattended access feature is perfect for those devices I know I'll need to connect to regularly.
Minpunten:
The interface for swapping between multiple screens is a little slow to react but since Zoho Assist seems to be regularly rolling out feature updates I expect this to be resolved in the future. I'd also love to see a URL shortener to give to people over the phone when I'm trying to get connected to them.
