When ever i have a query the customer care team promptly gets back to me with meaningful and useful information. For a one man show is brilliant, but it is tailored to large companies and personal.
There is no email system to communicate with client and vendors, it's all done through the App.

Better Than Any Other Work Order Software or Mobile App
Opmerkingen: We are a full scale IT department and we have been able to respond more quickly to our end users needs. It has allowed us to be more focused on customer service and time management. MaintainX has also allowed us the ability to be able to enter work orders on the fly so we do not forget to take care of something. I have not worked with any other software or app that has given us this type of functionality with so much ease and value for the price.
Pluspunten:
The ease of functionality in creating work orders for myself, staff and end users. The ability to easily create repeating work orders for backup and preventative maintenance items. The reporting dashboard is really nice and allows me to see a well rounded view of where we stand. I think I most enjoy how fast the app notifies me of a new request and status updates.
Minpunten:
I would like to see the ability to have work orders created based on known email addresses as well.

decent for an entry level program
Opmerkingen: Decent program to track work orders and manage assets. Very easy to use. Mobile app is helpful. not impressed with overall features and functionality. Data input way too time consuming.

inability to mass edit in spreadsheet format, worksheets are time consuming and basic. Lack space to input details such as component info for equipment, specs, etc. Lack of many desired features and functionality. mobile app doesnt show all info or allow editing of info when it comes to inventory control etc.

Pluspunten:
Maintain X has such great features and after doing A LOT of research and testing of other platforms, out performs all that I have found. It is very user friendly (which is helpful for folks who are used to working on the tools and not as much with technology). The support we get is great - from chat to our account manager. They have always tried to work with us to find ways we can utilize the system in a way that works for us. We use it everyday all day for work orders (Reactive), and preventative (PM) and it has been a dream since we implemented it over a year ago now. We also use another app that has integrated well with helping us automate other jobs that we used to manually put into Maintain X.
Minpunten:
Pricing is per seat - it would be great if there was a package price for unlimited users or even "up to 30 or 50" users. It would be nice to be able to access reporting on mobile. Would like more than just 1 level of hierarchy (parent/child) in assets and locations.

Opmerkingen: It has been great. Managing spare parts and locations has been very simple. Tying workorders to assets and showing how often work is done to that asset has been very helpful.

User Friendly . Very robust system. Makes spare parts management easy.
Minpunten:
The Apple barcode scanning when using bulk printed QR codes. The ability to distinguish the units after the URL code is not working with apple. It does work with Android though.

Great Work Order and Maintenance Management Program
Opmerkingen: It has been one of the most helpful additions to our maintenance team in the past few years.
Pluspunten:
The price is great for the product you get. It is a really easy program to use with a great mobile app for my team to track and complete work orders. It keeps everything really organized and is easy to track with projects.
Minpunten:
There are a couple of updates that I would like to see like tool check out programs and some more location options but it is a great program.

Versatility and dependable
Opmerkingen: We needed a system that works well not just for the uper management, but for the tech's. They are the frontline workers and we wanted a system they would enjoy using. Something user friendly and easy to use. We found it with MaintainX

We like that this is a mobile first system, everything a tech needs to have access to is there at his/her finger tip.

Great CMMS - Easy to use
Opmerkingen: Its a powerful tool to keep up will all the request we receive, to make sure nothing is forgotten.We've started including procedure for common task, which allows new hire to perform task with less supervision, and more effectively.
Pluspunten:
We chose MaintainX over other CMMS because it was simple and easy to use for some of our techs who are not that computer-savvy.Been using it for a lil over a year and its great, work order dont slip in the cracks anymore, the procedure library is a powerful tool and the android app is really nice.
Minpunten:
Some of the feature are sometimes too simple, missing some options, but then we chose it for its simplicity so cant complain.
MaintainX is worthy of your consideration.
Opmerkingen: This software has shown me where we needed better tracking with parts supplies and ordering as well as managing work order flow

User friendly, phone and Tablet compatible, frequent videos, support and the list goes on.

In over 2 years of being on MaintainX daily, I cannot think of 1 aspect that I dislike about this software.

The customer support has been above and beyond. [sensitive content hidden] has been guiding us every step of the way and has been outstanding in setting up our system. He is a credit to the company.

I haven't found any yet. The entire process from start to finish and ongoing has been excellent.
Game Changer
Opmerkingen: Simply put it's been a game changer for our department. The amount of time and effort this product has saved us has been so helpful. I'd never go back to our old system, we use this product daily and rely on it to be effective. It's been a great overall experience and I would honestly recommend it to anyone who manages any kind of property and maintenance staff.
Pluspunten:
This product has had a huge impact on our production and organization since it's implementation. It's been so easy to use and getting the rest of the team on board with the new system was really easy. I honestly can't imagine ever going back to the old way of using paper work orders. This is such a huge time saver for us and really is key to keeping track of all of our work orders across our different properties. It's great to be able to get all the key information into our techs hands out in the field being able to view photos and details in real time. And from the admin side it's a great being able to see when things are being completed. The asset tracking has been key for keeping track of our water meter readings and keeping up with vehicle maintenance as well. Having so many requestors is a big value as well; it gets our whole team involved with the facilities upkeep and has gone a long way to keeping our properties looking so nice and running smoothly. Oh and I can't forget to mention the team at MaintainX and their technical support. They've been so easy to work. They are always easy to get a hold of and very responsive. Any issues I've had so far have been taken care of either within a few hours or a day at most. It's so nice to get an actual person working at the company helping instead of a generic foriegn call center whos just googling the troubleshooting. They are always friendly and engaged in whatever you're calling about, so a big thanks to them.
Minpunten:
There's really not much I don't like about MaintainX. I guess if I had to pick something it would be that there doesn't seem to be many updates or new features added very often; or at least ones that impact our field or the areas we use it for. I've suggested some features to the team before but haven't seen any really implemented yet. But it's not the end of the world; the current build is still very much optimized for what we use it for.

MaintainX- the facility managers multi tool
Opmerkingen: Overall I am hyper pleased with the software's performance, reliability, cost, and ease of use.
Pluspunten:
I most enjoy the simple UI. In my industry there is little to no budget for training and onboarding of personnel. My team is also made up of individuals in which English is a second language. MaintainX has been able to capture a feature rich suite of tools that anyone can master in a relative short amount of time.
Minpunten:
As a user since its Beta, I have yet to find anything I do not like.
Don't hesitate
Opmerkingen: Game changer from the paper system we had previously, you can add or omit as much information as you like and slowly build in assets, parts etc as you go along.
Pluspunten:
The best things about MaintainX is it's paperless and live, there are no delays from putting on a job to it hitting the maintenance team, no printing out slips and handing them to the engineering team or pinning them on boards, it pings on their mobile in their pocket.
Minpunten:
The only little bump in the road was, each job needs to be approved by myself, so if I don't get to the request the job isn't generated, however we've overcome this by adding a lead engineer to be able to do this too. *I was trying hard to find an issue I've had over the time we've had MaintainX*
MaintainX isn't just a maintenance program but an entire facility management program
Opmerkingen: MX has more than 500 employees at this stage and I've interacted with quite a few over the three years and they have all been awesome... But I just have to give a shout out to [sensitive content hidden], my MX dream team and absolutely exceptional to work with.
Pluspunten:
MX is an ever changing program and it's constantly getting better. I signed up approx 3 years ago and they have launched feature upgrade after feature upgrade in that time. The system was already awesome when I got it and helped streamline a lot of the things we were struggling to get organized properly, but after three years they have launched so many more updates with features that make it absolutely exceptional.
Minpunten:
I would like to see the ability for me regular staff that aren't on MX to be able to complete a daily check list without quadrupling my price.

MaintainX is an excellent tool for Facilities Management
Opmerkingen: The report tracking allows me to visually demonstrate the needs of our department to the C-Suite. Very helpful in explaining costs that most suits are not accustomed to dealing with.
Pluspunten:
It is a very easy app to teach to employees. It does not take a lot of time to get your team started using the product.
Minpunten:
The premium version of the app is rather expensive. I created a less flashy version of MaintainX using HTML and Java for web browsers but the phone based app is preferred by staff.
Everything I need in one place
Opmerkingen: I've been an industrial mechanic for over 25 years. I've worked with shelves of parts catalogs with phone numbers and names scribbled on them, with faded faxes, photocopies and breakdowns stapled to the covers or stuffed into binders with manuals with missing pages. Spreadsheets with lines and lines of parts numbers and costs, inspection paper sheets covered in dirt and grease, static-y two-way radios for site equipment service calls, drawers full of half-used PO books with conflicting numbers that mean nothing (I can use YYYYMMDD-HHMM as my PO numbers now!) And that was the trade life. Now there's MaintainX. ALL OF THAT in one easy to find place, at your desk or on your phone. The job is still challenging. But MaintainX makes it easier.
Pluspunten:
It links suppliers to POs to spare parts inventory, which links to the assets, which links to inspections, which links to downtime tracking, which links to the mobile app so operators can call for service and automatically leave a record of it on the asset in question...
Minpunten:
Seriously, the only thing that irks me a bit is when I order parts or supplies that have more than two decimal places in the cost. And I hear they're working on that ;-).
MaintainX Review

Real time updates and status tracking aloows us to prioritize or jobs quickly and keep a running inventory for rooms at the hotel
Minpunten:
Dont have much to complain about, maybe adding a dark mode so when using it in guest rooms it isnt blinding in the early am or later pm hours

Better than the rest
Opmerkingen: Great app with everything we were looking for and way below the cost of others. Great support team. We know we can get our jobs done and communicate better as a team using this app.
Pluspunten:
They reach out to us personally every so often to ask if we would like to change anything. They always listen to the issues we have and correct it as soon as possible.

Perfect software to quickly set up and go
Opmerkingen: Brilliant, I was able to dive in head first and get a full maintenance schedule for the next 5 years, along with over 100 assets all with an individual fault request portal, custom servicing stickers for information, all within 1 month of signing up. It has really revolutionised and streamlined our maintenance.
Pluspunten:
The overall set up and integration was extremely easy, a few days sat down with my current schedule and I was able to transfer it all over and create a much better system. As well, the customer service is always very friendly and quick. Also, whilst using it there seems to be constant upgrades to the system based off of user feedback which is nice to see. We use this everyday from service reports to PPM and stock checks. The QR codes for assests are EXTREMELY useful.
Minpunten:
Some features could be better streamlined to do more complicated checks, but most ideas are possible with the time. Also a more editable request portal would be ideal
