The thing I like most about the software is that I can access my data and sales information from anywhere. I can check/make changes at home from my mobile device, home desktop, or my laptop.
Sometimes it is difficult to get through to a technican and I do not always receive a response to tickets that I raise.

The till system works seamlessly for my business. This is what I have been looking for. I really like the ability to check my reports using the cloud option. So I can check reports even when I’m at home.

100% not recommended to small business - Poor customer service - Slow payment receiving system - 100% no proper support received from EPOS NOW.

Everything about EPOS NOW. Time is crucial for small business. Payment receiving from customer is very slow and there are all other factors. - Poor customer service - No reliability of customer support - Build system that works very slow and take close to 2 minute to take a payment. - EPOS NOW is 100% SLOW PROCESSING SYSTEM AND WE NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANY ONE OF OUR CIRCLE. - No proper communication from customer support team if we raise complaint. - they're operating from UK and don't get surprised that delay on communication or any support. - Though set payment close time according business requirement, your payment will be always different from what you make. 100% not helpful company.

Should have done it a year ago!
Opmerkingen: Very good. We’ve taken ages (almost 12months) to take the plunge and commit to an EPOS system believing it would be difficult to set up and it would prove inflexible, but it’s proved surprisingly easy

Functionality, sits alongside current card payment system (DOJO) easy to set up, UK based support team - who answer your calls to their 0800 number without sending you through loads of multiple choice options before speaking to a human!

That I can’t connect my kitchen order printer wirelessly. Sadly a long Ethernet cable runs between the printer to the broadband box

The logo. Everything else sucked. This is a very misleading question used by companies that can't look themselves in the mirror and accept that they are not that good. This question should be left to the insecure.

The system never worked, the sales rep never showed up to help (although we had a meeting set) and for the past 14 months i have been paying for a service of which I NEVER used. When we finally had a chance to implement the system....the reader would not turn on! Just one failure after another and NOW I have to PAY them to break my contract!!!!! Are you kidding me??? When I tried to call during a very busy time to get this fixed (we are seasonal), I got stuck in the "sales force" continuous loop of BS, only to get frustrated and have a survey sent to me moments later that has NO WAY of contacting a real human...and only really lets you give them kudos. What are we actually teaching the next generation? That mediocre is ok as long as you hit the metric on your current survey goals??

Larger transactions seem to generate messages as if our identity is being challenged. Then a second message acting as if we are a new account

Excellent Help Desk Experience

I am reviewing a help desk contact. The call we made was answered promptly and the advice given was clear and worked effectively.

We would like to see the card terminals offer a Customer Not Present function. Using Pay By Link is very clumsy and relies on Customers to use their mobile 'phones or email correctly, which many do not.

Excellent product and even more excellent support

From start to present the overall experience has been pleasant with only 1 or 2 minor issues which were swiftly resolved once support were contacted.
The equipment works well and as most of it is cloud based it is all very streamlined.
Pluspunten:
The cloud based back office is great as I personally am not based in the business where our tills are but can access almost everything remotely. Also, on the rare occasion I have required technical support I have faced almost zero hold time and had an exemplary service to fix my issues.
Minpunten:
It would be nice if I could view the 'till' screens remotely without paying for an extra license. Just to move buttons around etc not to use to actually be a 3rd Till device. Also the bulk import tool should really be included free as part of the package instead of an app with additional subscription cost... although we only really needed it to get setup and the free trial was long enough it would still be handy to have access to this feature.

Great EPOS experience from software, sales to support
Opmerkingen: After experience with EPOS Now back in 2016, never thought I'd be using this product or company again, but what a massive difference these years have made. Nothing but positives so far. Which I hadn't messed about with the other companies the last 18 months.
Pluspunten:
Software had everything I was looking for, which most companies that have these features are charging the earth. [sensitive content hidden] from sales team has been incredible, and great experience from [sensitive content hidden] in support. The fact [sensitive content hidden] was able to help with an issue at 20:00 in the evening when most companies have sent the team home is impressive.
Minpunten:
A lot of self learning, which for me is ok as I've used a lot of different EPOS companies, and this is also reflective in the pricing being great value which is fair.

Great Till Software
Pluspunten:
It's super easy software to use and it's cheap compared to other ones out there. Till system is great and you rarely have any problems and when you do customer support its amazing. It has changed over the years (been using it since 2017) and they just keep getting better without any additional charge. It connects to shopify and keeps your inventory in sync, which is awesome. Overall honestly, its a great software/till system and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this to anyone.

**More like I wish they would have the following** If you don't save any chances (eg when doing a purchase order or editing product items) it doesn't give you a warning before you close the tab. This can cause issues from time to time and would be handy to have a pop-up when closing the tab if the changes are not saved. Shopify app can mess up sometimes and sync the order twice which causes inventory issues but this has to do with the external app rather than eposnow but would be nice to have it fixed. Having the ability to scan the purchase order would be a game changer. for example, currently you can scan the product barcode and then you have to put in the quantity you received. If you can just scan a product and it automatically populates the quantity by 1, this would reduce a lot of manual input.

EposNow for a bar
Opmerkingen: Very positive. Easy to set up and runs well and the overall cost is excellent.
Pluspunten:
Easy setup and ongoing management of the system. Cloud sync allows remote management. Easy for our bar staff to use. Customer support is also very good - if we have an issue it's normally a 5 minute phone call to get it sorted.
Minpunten:
The previous product management was clunky, but the new version has streamlined it and now lets us change the pricing of multiple products at once. As we are a not for profit Social Club, initial verification by [sensitive content hidden] was a pain because we don't have a company number.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM
Opmerkingen: We signed up with this company they have been unable to provide a working system and now its our fault and we have to pay and exit fee because we have no option but to leave them as we need a working till system. A truly pathetic excuse of a company who no doubt spend more money on there legal department than they do anywhere else.

Appalling company and terrible equipment

Unfortunately I've been stung twice by this company. First time I purchased their software and they didnt support the set up properly, sent me faulty equipment, cut contact once they had my money and overcharged me for support services I never purchased. It took months and months to correct. The second time when I started up my own business I decided to use them reluctantly because it was easy to transfer menus etc across from the old business to the new business. To get the same monthly price I had to pay a year in advance and thats when it went downhill. I paid my money and then the sales advisor [sensitive content hidden] who promised to transfer my menus cut contact and left me with nothing. After weeks of trying to get him to respond and filing complaints the Customer Relations manager with not the correct tech experience attempted to transfer all my menus and lost them all. £200 staff wages menu developing just gone like that! Now the software team are suggesting that menus with sub categories cannot be transferred. What a ridiculous system to set up that cannot thrn be transferred and better still why did no one advise of this before I paid an employee £200 to set up the menus. Now no one is responding to me. Ive paid a years worth of licenses and now got zero service and no till system. Shocking company and the poor service is across the board. Theres plenty other EPOS companies to deal with avoid these money snatchers at all costs as when there are software faults the tech teams are under qualified and just try to wing it regularly making your problems even bigger! AVOID!!

Service is horrendous

customer service at your company is a joke, just pass the problem from person to person until the customer gives up calling?.. not sure why the customer service department of your company even exists because resolving issues efficiently and in a timely manor is impossible when getting passed from person to person and nothing gets done,if it wasnt so frustrating it would be funny your literally paying staff to answer a phone, apologise for the problem say they will fix it asap and then that request goes absolutely no where, repeat this process 50 times until you lose your mind and still problem wont be resolved.

Poor unreliable system. Card reader fails frequently.
Opmerkingen: It was okay until I couldn’t take payment multiple times the first day of being in business. Even with tech support and having it hardwired into the network, the card still failed multiple times the next 5 days. Does not deliver what it promise.
Pluspunten:
Sales reporting is actually good, it gives you a breakdown of everything including modifiers.
Minpunten:
Unable to collect payment. On grand opening day, card reader failed. I called tech support to fix issue. It failed again a couple hours later. And every single day for the first week in business it failed. I couldn’t take a lot of payments on grand opening week. I also wasted a lot of time calling tech support grand opening week. Time that should be been spent on grand opening things, not troubleshooting a card reader. This product is an epic fail. Don’t waste your time or money.

System Keeps Bugging Out, No in-Person Support

Nothing. The system bugs out and there’s no support during restaurant hours.
Minpunten:
That it keeps freezing. Then there’s no support during restaurant hours. I am being charged for things I didn’t sign up for and then the number they give you to sort it out doesn’t go to the right person. On top of this if you don’t sort it out (which you actually can’t), they stop access to your system.

FAKE ADVERTISING WITH NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT

FAKE CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND THEY ARE BASICALLY CONMEN JUST TAKING MONEY FROM OUR CREDIT CARDS AND BARELY ANY OPTIONS OF STOPING THE PAYMENTS.

Nothing! when I was looking for POS systems, I stumbled on this, and thought I should give it s try, once they saw my interest everyone from their team was on my neck constantly emailing me to make payment, and telling me how they'll support us in every step. our business is based in Uganda - Africa

Since then Aug 2022, they have been billing us despite the system getting to us like in december, since then they never respond to emails or if you call they put you on hold until your credit ends> very bad customer service, poor support and constantly billing. its now 1 year and 2 months and we have never used this fake system. its still as new as it was purchased. if you can't give us support, at least remove your fake software so we use other systems. this has been the most frustrating investment!!!!
