Opmerkingen: Using Zapier workflow automation, we were able to mimic a google workspace type experience for our project management needs which we chose box because of a 20+ year relationship and its robust list of available integration options thanks to its multi-decade cultivating of relationships unmatched by any of their competitors.
Pluspunten:
Their Cloud infrastructure is one of the original online storage spaces, which i have used since 2001 to keep my songwriting files secure. My favorite unique advantage that box has is its file versioning. As a songwriter it can be challenging saving updated lyrics though still utilizing autosave to avoid unintended deletion. File versioning combines the two and organizes all versions, with an easy selectbox convenient for final drafting.
Minpunten:
Their workspace is pretty generic, which can be more seamless as a one-stop project management superapp, which is made possible by zapier

Opmerkingen: Overall it was a needed product at the right time but it didn't quite fill all my needs.
Pluspunten:
At the time I was using it it was one of the only mobile applications available for cloud storage so it was valuable to me as a product

The space available for free. I was struggling to get my business going and couldn't afford the cost for all the storage I needed at the time
My favourite cloud storage for several years
Opmerkingen: I had a great experience with Box, kicking off around 2012 when I was given some extra storage with my HP TouchPad (remember that!?). While I can no longer use it on my main PC, it is still running on the family's Windows laptop.
Pluspunten:
Having used all of the major cloud storage solutions, I found Box the easiest to use. Its syncing tool was - when I last used it - the best available, offering reliability and leaving me with the confidence to find work created on device A available to review on device B.
Minpunten:
Unfortunately, as my opinions about computing and software have moved towards an open source philosophy, I have found myself unable to use Box. I would be prepared to make an exception for Box, but it does not offer an official Linux app.

Easy to Naviagate, Easy to Share
Opmerkingen: I am very happy with the functionality, and how easy it out to create custom access and share links. The search feature also works well when you are looking for specific documents.
Pluspunten:
I like how easy it is to customize and share files with specific parties. I like how customizable the layouts and folders are.
Minpunten:
I wish there was real time editing inside the tab you are viewing, same as Teams, Dropbox or Google Drive. I have oft had to teach people that they need to open the view only file in the "online" version and edit there.
Simple and sorted file sharing
Opmerkingen: Experience is good and helpful with Box. As our main work is logs management and analyse the logs by taking it from customer. This work is easy with Box to take logs and to see the issues with easy storing and sharing capabilities.
Pluspunten:
1. Helpful in storing and accessing large size files with ease and security. 2. Easy login if there is a account and can provide permission to each file. 3. Sharing files with short links, handling company data and signatures are effective and not a big deal now.
Minpunten:
1. It urge to create account who is not in box to access file which sometimes a headache for customers, 2. Quite costly for small organizations.
Lovely and works perfectly with files and documents storage.

Box Review by a Study Coordinator
Opmerkingen: I use Box on a daily basis as a study coordinator to share and work on documents with sponsors based in many different locations throughout the US.
Pluspunten:
The ability to share and collaborate on documents through a cloud-based platform. Allows you to work with people all over the country.
Minpunten:
We have had a few issues with organization, but that is mostly user error.
Best Cloud Storage

Excellent Box
Opmerkingen: Overall the box platform is great for using in a controlled business environment and allows an organization to monitor important files and give access and permission to its employees as required.
Pluspunten:
Box is an amazing file uploading platform. Loved the ability to limit accessibility permissions to employees based on what they need to use. It has live updating and syncing and allows user to see who accessed the file last.
Minpunten:
I found the search field to have a slight lag when loading but this could be because we have a vast amount of data loaded,but other than that it’s super beneficial and accessible.
Partner of box user
Opmerkingen: Overall my experience with box was good! After realizing I had to make an account I didn't have any other issues. box perfectly allowed me to upload the large files that I needed to share with my partner.
Pluspunten:
I currently use box in the capacity of having a free account and uploading files as one of my partners requires us to upload our shared files to it. I like the fact that any person can make a free account to upload files and I like how intuitive the interface is (New+, Copy Shared Link, Share, etc.)
Minpunten:
It took a while for me to realize how to upload files. This is because my company does not use box but we have partners that require us to send files with it. It took me a while to realize that I could make a free account to upload files rather than it being an issue with the folder's sharing settings.

Box is my number one cloud storage software!
Opmerkingen: Overall Box is my favorite cloud storage software. I use both Online and Mobile App and love the seamless use from one to the other. In all the years that I've been using Box, I have never had a single security issue. The functions are easy and intuitive. File loading and transferring is very fast. Box is a very solid and reliable product, with a high trust factor. I highly recommened.

Box offered the best introductory deal, so I gave it a try. I like the clean interface, ease of use, security, and intuitive functions. Box makes file sharing easy and very reliable.

Opmerkingen: Box is fantastic for keeping everything managed and stored in one place. I really appreciate how competitive the pricing is compared to other options. The software has no crashed on me yet and I do trust that all my files are safe. It is quickly accessed through any phone or laptop (or tablet).

Box provides me easy access to all of my documents, files, and data, at an affordable price with a no nonsense software and universal support structure.

I wish apple had an integration with Box and iCloud natively. It is its own separate app.
Security means BOX
Opmerkingen: It's a great cloud storage service, its safety is the most powerful weapon bout this service. There is no record that exists like the hack of documents spamming in BOX.

I love to use BOX for my document's security. I have been using BOX for the last 5 years as my document management and file sharing.
Minpunten:
I like least about BOX is its offline file options. I don't use this.

Minpunten:
Higher pricing tiers come with more advanced features and larger storage limits. Complex setup and management may be required for certain advanced features and integrations. Customization and initial setup can take a lot of time.
Decent file storage and sharing
Opmerkingen: We use it to share files within and outside of the organization. It can be used for files and folders alike, which is very useful for us. I’m happy with the quality of this software, and hope others would adopt it too.

Opmerkingen: Box was utilized for my first 2/3 years with this current company. The company as a whole made the transition from Box to OneDrive for Business. As a front end user, I did not see any issues with Box and think it was a great solution, but I believe the company as a whole transitioned to overall integrate more of Microsoft's Office 365 for simplicity and consistency.
Pluspunten:
Box does what it is supposed to do. It worked well as a backup solution and I always felt confident my documents and data were secure and easily accessible through desktop or mobile means.
Minpunten:
Throughout my experience with Box, I would say that I never found a negative aspect.
Great from researchers
Opmerkingen: As someone involved in clinical research, Box makes it extremely easy to create project folders with many different types of documents (word,pdf,excel,ppt) all in a HIPAA compliant manner. Additionally, the advanced components of the share features allow certain documents to be restricted based on someone’s role on our team.
Pluspunten:
Being able to use Microsoft programs is the greatest advantage, especially compared to Google drive.
Minpunten:
Slightly more difficult to collaborate, especially when it comes to people editing the same document at the same time. It seems like the document doesn’t always sync up correctly and multiple versions end up getting saved.

Previously, the processes that we now automate through Box took us a long time to carry out, with automation we have reduced work times and improved daily production in task deliveries. It has been useful and we have been able to work as a more organized team and with better tools.

It allows me to have better prepared work with my team to prepare projects, having all the information protected and everyone working together for better speed and collaboration among all. It is easy to access from any device and this allows me to always be in contact and work from wherever I am without having to be in person at the office.

I would only like the response times from the customer service team to be faster and not have to wait for long responses.
Box - easy, effective and secure cloud storage you can totally rely on
Opmerkingen: Happy I found this years ago. When I was a teacher, I would put student documents online, so they could access the notes later - and they also loved getting teh free introduction to using Box.
Pluspunten:
I like the way it integrates. I use it with Trello. I also have a folder of all my details for when I travel, like photos of my passport, tickets and contact numbers. It means I can access these from anywhere if the world if needed.
Minpunten:
Nothing. It's a great product and works really well. There's nothing to complain about with Box
Box Rocks for File Storage

Ease of use and the tools/features included. the notifications for downloads and uplaods to collaboration folders is helpful. ability to creat our own workflows and send messages within Box.
Minpunten:
the workflow creation doesn't work for multiple users utilizing the same workflow. If I create a workflow and another user utilizes it, all communications have my name on them. it sometimes takes a few minutes for the desktop (both Mac and PC) and web versions to sync correctly.
