Pluspunten:

Minpunten:

Sometimes the gps location is off. The app's features may sometimes occasionally be unclear. Additionally, it cannot operate without a connection to the internet.

Makes my job easier

Opmerkingen: Overall I like QuickBooks Time, save me time.

Pluspunten:

I use QuickBooks Time to keep up with the hours of all Employees at my job as Office Manager, I run my Dad's Office for his plumbing company. I have to keep up with time being that we are a small family owned business. Makes writing checks on Friday so much easier.

Minpunten:

The fact that I have to manually save it on order for it to sav and the fact that it's not accessible on the mobile app.

Good App But Not Worth Price

Pluspunten:

Quickbooks Time allowed for centralized hour tracking for hourly employees. It was nice to use as it was semi-automated.

Minpunten:

The cost wasn’t worth the platform as hour tracking can be done fairly simply in a spreadsheet.

Nice idea but somehow confusing

Opmerkingen: We’re excited about it and thought that we dont need to other paid websites which mean less work by that i mean the transfer from another website to another. Unfortunately, it was too difficult due to some approval issues from our-side and how confusing it is

I like the idea of how they try to include labour time and try to make it easy for the user which is nice

Minpunten:

Unfortunately, for my team and i, it was somewhat difficult and confusing. I’m not sure if it’s the wrong setting but when we decided to move the labour time in the invoice, it need admin approval which is quite annoying because sometimes, our upper managements are not always here and sometimes our the customers get upsets about it.

I like that is allows manipulation of the times entered. I forget to clock in or out and it helps to not have to bother HR to fix my time.

Minpunten:

I feel the location tracking is a bit of envasive, but it does make sure that people who leave the work space when they arent supposed to are held accountable.

Opmerkingen: Okay, fair to mid, definitely got the job done but was on the pricy side and ultimately not the most sustainable choice.

Pluspunten:

A comprehensive time clock application for your small to medium size business. Geofencing is a handy tool for ensuring employees stay on site.

Minpunten:

Base plus subscriber fee can be pricey… and Internet connection must remain stable in order for employees to be tracked accurately.

works for employees but not for contractors

Opmerkingen: BAD! RUN! HIDE! Find some other software that works with QB Time. You'll save yourself alot of time dealing with glitches and customer service teams that can't help you. Not all of them are bad - 1 in 8 are probably really good. I just spent SO MUCH TIME and even wrote to all the executives, and none of them were able to help me - they just assigned someone that said she'd call back today, then it turned into tomorrow, then it was ghosting. Never heard from her again.

works for employee payments, they will pay the taxes if you input the tax id numbers for each state

Minpunten:

doesn't work for contractors - i spent an entire month, 4 hours per day, dealing with problems with contractors. i finally started researching it myself (we purchased the most elite payroll and qbo advanced so we could get the best customer service) and it turns out it was a known issue since 2019. it's 2024 now. if they weren't going to fix it, they need to stop selling it. we spent so much time trying to get it to work, looking like idiots to our contractors, and wasting precious time we could have been using building the business. the system needs to work or go home. don't sell something that's broken.

QuickBooks Time

Opmerkingen: Overall experience is positive and we have no plans to leave Time or any of the QuickBooks products that we use.

Pluspunten:

We adopted it in April 2023 and there was a learning curve but once we got over the curve, it has worked well and is more efficient than GetHarvest which is what we were using. The ease of putting in time is a plus, it is pretty intuitive to use and the integration with QuickBooks Payroll is great.

Minpunten:

Adopting the program is challenging as although it is a Quickbooks product, it is very clear that the customer service reps when you call Time don't know much at all about QuickBooks and the QuickBooks team doesn't know Time. One of our primary reasons for adopting Time was the ability to export the Time directly into QuickBooks for easier invoicing but it was and continues to be challenging to troubleshoot issues as they are not appropriately cross trained.

Outstanding Customer service, QuickBook Time is simply Awesome

Opmerkingen: I am very much satisfied using QuickBook Time for my institution. It saves lots of time while sending solicitations to clients, simpler for me (the Proprietor) to see what my representatives are chipping away at and when, in addition to my workers love it since it's more straightforward for them as well.

The quality and accuracy along with seamless integration to QuickBooks Online is really helpful and any employer would like this for sure. Really good for job costing and helping employees track their time during work

Minpunten:

Automation is highly essential especially when it comes to manually add finance planning each time another representative is added appears to be crazy - this ought to be more seemless as it synchronizes with QuickBooks.

The most user friendly time tracking program for companies around.

Opmerkingen: My experience has been overall positive. It is a very reliable tool 95% of the time and when/if it misses a beat it always guides you to rectify whatever may have happened. The integration with QB online makes this program an 8 for me.

Pluspunten:

Quickbooks Time is a user friendly option for Timekeeping. Capable of handling large to small companies. Its's UI is intuitive. It's customization and modification options are plenty for whatever your companies needs are. Best part is that it seamlessly integrates with Quickbooks Online or Quickbooks Desktop.

Minpunten:

Quickbooks Time is a bit glitchy at times. The Time Kiosk option is very hit or miss. Sometimes it logs out, then you will need a code to designate that computer or device as a Time Kiosk. The experience is time consuming. The communication between QB Time and QB online can be spotty at times causing some payroll mapping problems. However, In fairness QB Time will issue the user alerts and help rectify a lot of the problems you may face.

QuickBooks For You

Opmerkingen: Overall my experience was good with QB Time, I would have no issues with using this system going forward, I think that it is user friendly for the majority of the system and if any issues occurred it was a really quick response time from the support team.

Pluspunten:

It was easy to view the hours that all employees have done and to view on a weekly basis.

Minpunten:

The way to approve hours wasn't the best experience, especially if multiple teams.
