De automatiseringsfuncties bespaarden me tijd en verbeterden de betrokkenheid van mijn publiek. Pluspunten:

Mailchimp heeft indruk op me gemaakt. De gebruiksvriendelijke interface, uitgebreide sjablonen en krachtige automatiseringstools hebben mijn e-mailmarketing naar een hoger niveau getild. Het rapportage-dashboard gaf me diepgaand inzicht. Een onmisbare tool voor elk bedrijf, groot of klein.

Minpunten:

Mailchimp's prijsstijgingen na verloop van tijd kunnen ontmoedigend zijn voor kleine bedrijven met beperkte budgetten. Ook lijkt de klantenondersteuning soms traag en onvoldoende responsief bij technische problemen, wat frustratie kan veroorzaken tijdens kritieke momenten.

Opmerkingen: Fijn ook om de statistieken terug te zien, overzichtelijk!

Pluspunten:

alle contacten op 1 plek, gegevens verwerken, groepen maken, nieuwsbrief simpel vormgeven in huisstijl, leuke details bij gebruik van Mailchimp. Integreerbaar met bijna al onze andere programma's, koppelen vaak simpel en snel.

Minpunten:

Kan er op geen komen op dit moment, ben erg tevreden met hoe en waarvoor wij het gebruiken.

Hopeloos omslachtige tool

+ Veel mogelijkheden om mailflows te maken

Minpunten:

- Ongelofelijk omslachtig: alle belangrijke acties zitten onlogisch verstopt achter allerlei onnodige kliks - Traag - Onduidelijke userflow, het is heel makkelijk om een campagne per ongeluk inactief te laten staan - Infantiele restricties op email-adressen toevoegen: als ze al in een lijst zitten, kun je ze niet opnieuw toevoegen, want dat is niet "GDPR" - gaat compleet voorbij aan het feit dat je adressen alleen wil verwijderen en opnieuw wil toevoegen omdat de tool zelf zo hopeloos ineffectief is.

One of the drawback of mailchimp is it's pricing structure, especially as your subscriber list grows. Also, it harder to gain deep insights into user behavior and campaign performance.

Easy to use and often recommended

Opmerkingen: I've been using Mailchimp on and off for about 6 years. As a brand strategist, I use it for my personal brand use and often interact with it for my clients. It is easy to use and set up; I like the user-friendliness of it and often recommend it to brands that want a visually engaging, easy-to-use email service.

Mailchimp is easy to use and set up. They also make it easy to customize your branding, I don't often find this on other email platforms.

Minpunten:

It seems better suited for e-commerce than for newsletters, which is a shame because newsletters could be a lot more attractive and engaging with Mailchimp's branding features.

- Templates are not that flexible - It's not THAT mobile device responsive - It is kinda pricy for what you get

Opmerkingen: As Mailchimp is usually used by companies, this is the first software I gained experience with as an in-house marketer. It's easy to set up and import subscribers. While the interface can be a bit confusing, it's not hard to figure out how to do things.

Pluspunten:

It's easy to use and provides a wide variety of tools to help you grow and manage your email list. I like that I can create landing pages and filter signups into groups based on their interests.

Minpunten:

Because Mailchimp has so many features it can be a bit hard to find what you are looking for sometimes. However, there are a lot of articles in the knowledge database. I don't find their site builder to be as simple to use as what is offered by other email providers.

I haven’t found many downsides. Perhaps the interface could feel a bit more modern, but this doesn’t affect usability in any way.

Opmerkingen: Since our email marketing efforts, we use Mailchimp, which proved invaluable. From analytics provided by the robust platform through to the mobile UI, we’ve leveraged the platform to build and implement compelling tactics. For the advantage of simplicity, we used Mailchimp for the amount of features it offers and its scalability. Delivery rates here were good, and the platform had a good reputation for reliable delivery and also good customer support. In terms of the integrated marketing tools and automation capabilities, it all fit perfectly into what we required.

Its convenient drag and drop email builder and full analytics dashboard make it stand out. Through the behavioral targeting capabilities and advanced segmentation options, you enjoy unmatched control over campaign personalization.

Minpunten:

Better duplicate handling is needed in the contact management system. More complex flag branching would be great for the automation builder.

Modern solution for the constant battle of bulk emails

Opmerkingen: Has made our ability to send bulk emails extremely reliable and simple where before it was a constant battle and never really new how successful we were

Pluspunten:

Its very easy to navigate, does not have a steep learning curve and is reliable. You dont have to hope that your emails were sent and received.

Minpunten:

It can get pricey when you have a large volume so its wise to make sure you are not wasting resources sending to the wrong audience

Great industry standard but sometimes overly complicated and expensive

Opmerkingen: I've used Mailchimp at two organisations and it makes it easy to send professional-looking emails to a large number of contacts. I only used the more basic functions as my organisation was very small, but there were a lot of other features I could have used if I needed to. It was generally easy to use their email editor but there were some funny quirks about it that made it more complicated than necessary in my opinion. I really liked the link checker function which saved me a number of times from using the wrong links!

It's really easy to make a great looking email and send it to a large database of contacts

If you only need basic email functions then Mailchimp can be overly complicated and expensive

Large business on Mailchimp

Opmerkingen: So far support has been fantastic. We do have a large data base with multiple users and we have had very few issues with the interface and seems relatively user friendly for people new to the platform.

Pluspunten:

The ability to have a vast amount of audiences.

Minpunten:

No being able to manage users and their audiences more effectively. It would be nice to be able to view a users audiences and manage them as an owner of an account.

I liked least in Mailchimp the higher pricing for advanced features and larger lists. Moreover, it has basic AI content creation tools, and sometimes customization can be quite limiting compared to some more specific niche email marketing platforms.

Great first ESP when moving your business forward

Opmerkingen: For an entry level ESP and for small businesses I think it’s a great solution. It is less robust at enterprise level.

For a beginner like me, email marketing is simple with Mailchimp. This is a boon for many small businesses with no formal training in design as the drag-and-drop email builder is super intuitive and the large number of templates on it make it a cinch to create campaigns that look pro. A good overall platform, but there are better values out there

Opmerkingen: I use Mailchimp for a few of my clients (I run a marketing agency). I've used Mailchimp to create monthly newsletter-style emails as well as automated welcome campaigns to nurture new leads. It has served my needs and the needs of my clients well.

Pluspunten:

Mailchimp is pretty user-friendly (especially the new email builder), easy to get set-up and has all of the features you'd want in an email marketing system.

Minpunten:

Mailchimp used to have a VERY generous free plan, but have recently changed their structure for the free plan as well as raised their prices. While it is a good service, I think there are better values in the market.

Subscriber based billing system - the more subscribers you have, the more you'll pay, which is par for the course, but it does encourage you to regularly cleanse your data and keep records up to date.
