Softwarekopers moeten de volgende factoren in gedachten houden bij het kiezen van ATS-systemen:

  • Definitieve kosten van de software: sommige leveranciers hebben jaarcontracten, andere brengen kosten per gebruiker in rekening, en weer andere bieden de software als een maandabonnement aan. Een verkoper kan ook vragen om te betalen per geplaatste vacature of gebruiker. Zorg er daarom voor dat je de totale prijsstelling van een leverancier en de bijbehorende kosten die bij de software horen, zoals trainingskosten, rapportagekosten, kosten voor klantenondersteuning en onboardingkosten, goed begrijpt.
  • Gemakkelijke implementatie en integratiemogelijkheden: je mag geen fouten maken, want je moet een ton aan gegevens verwerken. Laat de ATS het voor je doen. Het moet in staat zijn om de gegevens met gemak over te zetten naar een nieuw systeem, of om gegevens te importeren uit een andere database. Mogelijk moet je de ATS integreren met je HR-software om onboarding en loonadministratie eenvoudig te maken. Dit zal van cruciaal belang zijn voor veel bedrijven die in eigen beheer werven. Controleer daarom bij de leverancier of zij integraties (met e-mail, databases, agenda's etc.), implementatieondersteuning en training na de installatie aanbieden.
  • Werving via sociale media neemt toe: miljoenen mensen, vooral millennials, maken dagelijks een paar uur gebruik van sociale media. Bedrijven kunnen deze trend aangrijpen om hun zichtbaarheid en merk te vergroten.
